SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS THROUGH ACCESS TO RESOURCES AND PROACTIVE SOLUTIONS
Homeless Diversion/Eviction Prevention
Homeless Diversion/Eviction Prevention can support households that are in the initial stages of experiencing housing instability. Prevention efforts focus on those who are at risk of homelessness, but are not yet experiencing literal homelessness. Diversion programs can assist households experiencing a housing crisis by finding alternatives to emergency shelters. This approach focuses on conversations with households to determine what resources they have available and how the organization can best support them.
