Join us for Waypoint's new event, Hiking for Housing!
Help Waypoint raise awareness about homelessness and promote housing stability in our community. This impactful event features photo opportunities, ribbon tying, and an optional post-hike lunch!

Trail options
You will choose between three different hiking trails*:
- Trail 1: Waypoint Trail - 3.3 miles
- Trail 2: Stumptown Trail - 2 miles
- Trail 3: Overlook Trail - 1.3 miles (paved)
*All trails are dog-friendly!
Event schedule
Pre-Check-in (Optional):
- Date: Sep 20th, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- Location: Waypoint 5th Street front desk
- Note: Skip the line, grab your shirt, and show up ready to hike on the 22nd!
Day of Event:
- Check-in: Sep 22nd, 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. at Mount Trashmore front entrance
- Hike: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Post Event: Enjoy an after-event lunch at Pickle Place in Cedar Rapids with fellow participants. (Meal prices are not included in your ticket purchase)
